Reader & Company exists to cultivate a lifelong love of literature through exceptional books, meaningful conversation, and authentic community. I'm Sherry, and for more than thirty-five years, I worked with children as an educator and school librarian, helping young readers discover great books and grow as readers. Reader & Company is a continuation of that work -- and I'm delighted to begin.

Read & Wonder
Ages 5 - 7
55 minutes
A joyful introduction to the literary life, where young readers explore wonderful books through read-alouds, conversation, creativity, and discovery. Children build early literary understanding while learning to notice, wonder, share ideas, and delight in stories together.
8-week session includes:

A welcoming gathering for growing readers to explore great books, authors, and genres through thoughtful conversation and shared discovery. Readers deepen their understanding of literature, discover new books and authors, and grow more confident in talking about what they read.

Literary Society

A richer literary experience for older readers who are ready to think more deeply about books, ideas, and the craft of storytelling. Through engaging literature and meaningful discussion, readers develop their literary understanding, broaden their reading lives, and enjoy being part of a community of fellow readers.
